It had been a long-time dream of mine to see a leopard in the Maasai Mara. It took longer than I thought it would, as I was one of the only people going out on safari during lockdown. One magical evening when I was coming back to camp and not really focused on finding wildlife, there she was, standing proudly outside Governors’ Camp. It was as if she was waiting for me.
