Description: A young leopard cub curiously explores the Mara

Story from behind the lens: We watched with amazement as this young leopard cub cautiously followed its mother in and around the tall grass, constantly looking towards mom for guidance on where to go next. But for a short moment it seemed to gain a sense of adventure, going off on its own and straying away from mom. I took this photo during this moment, working to get down for a lower angle really puts you in the world of the cub.
