Description: Male lion makes his way to an opening in the Mara valley

Story from behind the lens: Sunset. Light was fading. Fortunately for us, our guide located a male lion that was beginning to wake up in time for nightfall. Once we spotted him, we settled into position as the sky was changing, showing hues of pink and purple. I positioned my camera as low as I could get as the majestic male lion made his way towards us. Such an unbelievable moment!
