Story from behind the lens: We had spent 8 nights in the greater Mara region, and had not seen the sun the entire trip. Our last morning we had time to only go out for a short drive, but we were excited to see that the sky was clear and so we were hopeful we would be able to find a worthwhile subject. Luckily for us, the large local pride had decided to spend this morning out on the plains, and the pride male posed for us in the early morning light.
