Description: This was one such dramatic moment which truly captures the life in wild. I want the viewers to not take sides and appreciate that death for one is life for another in this delicate balance of life.
Story from behind the lens: We were lucky on this particular noon in Masaimara when we witnessed one rare natural history moment of experiencing a leopard chase and hunt in day light and that too in the open grasslands. Luluka leopard was resting in the bushes during the cloudy noon until it sensed the steenbok at far distance. We thought it will let it go since it would be too open for the leopard to make a successful hunt. However to our surprise it decided to go for it. It waited for good 30 minutes stalking the steenbok at 50 meters before going for the final kill. This was one such moment when the steenbok got the sense of approaching death but was completely.
