Description: Male Lion on the horizon at dawn

Story from behind the lens: After setting out from our camp (Mara Siligi Camp) early one morning, we came across this male lion out on patrol. Majestically pausing to look across the plains, he seemed to consider the sight before deciding to settle down in this location. I was fortunate to capture this shot as he settled down, with a hot air balloon just showing through the low hanging fog as the sun began to rise, casting a hint of color across the sky.
