Description: Elephants move across the horizon against a backdrop of a dramatic sky.
Story from behind the lens: This image was made possible by my guide Mika Kaleku who as soon as he saw the clouds develop & the sky darken raced towards an open plain in the hope that there would be some animals on the horizon. Luckily we were blessed with antelope & elephants. When we were close enough I got out of the vehicle & took a series of silhouette images as the antelope & then this elephant family moved across the horizon. This was one of my favorites as the family moved past the acacia tree with this amazing sky as a backdrop. It's symbolizes why I love the Mara so much.
