Story from behind the lens: just as we were driving around looking for a leopard, my guide looks back at me as says leopard on the tree. i got so excited as we had not seen much game in the morning. this tree was not like any other tree. it was directly at eye level. there is very few trees like this in the mara. when my guide spotted faulu she was sleeping in the branches hidden away. you couldn't even tell there was a leopard up on the tree. we waited a couple of hours for her to get up. there was a few bees bothering her which made her finally get up after five hours of waiting. there was nice soft light hitting her. she got up to stretch and that's when i got my shot.
