Description: Two male lions lay in the pouring rain
Story from behind the lens: Our guide had just been informed about a large pride of lions nearby, so we ventured through the crazy downpour to find them. We came to a slight opening in the shrubs, and there sat these two male lions beside each other. Their manes were soaked, which could only mean one thing...they would perform the typical mane shake. We must have sat there for close to an hour, for at least one of them to do it. It was a surreal experience being so close to them whilst getting absolutely drenched in the rain.
