Story from behind the lens: The van was stuck in the mud when suddenly these Maasai people, who were nearby, came to help. I was ready with my 70-300 to take pictures of wildlife not of humans but when I saw this moment I was excited to see the “clash” between the modern and the tribal the old and new. It was amusing to see that the traditional help the modern which usually seems to us the better one, I had to click. After I looked at the picture I thought it seems like the tribal people trying to stop the “modern beast”.
