Description: Wildebeest River Crossing

Story from behind the lens: We spent the day visiting various crossing points of the Mara River, hoping to see a migration crossing. Just as we thought the day was going to be a bust, we made one final stop as we headed back toward the lodge. As we waited and watched several wildebeests hanging out at the edge of the river for what seemed like an eternity, one brave soul finally decided to take the plunge. As soon as that one entered the river, others quickly followed, in what looked like a stampede down the embankment creating dust storm. Our patience paid off, and we finally got to witness The Great Migration!
