Description: I love to observe the interaction between cats and with lions you're usually guaranteed some special moments as they're so sociable.

Story from behind the lens: We were driving round in drizzly conditions when we came across these two female lions. They were sat calmly regarding the plains around them, yawning and stretching and then they began to wash the rain off one another. It was a lovely moment to capture as the lions seemed lost in the moment, enjoying the special bond that they will have created within their whole pride. The Charles Dickens quote seemed an apt title for this image.
