Story from behind the lens: Driving along the Olkeju Rongai river, we heard a lot of chirping from a tree, as we approached cautiously, we saw a hive of activity with the weavers. The males would watch the females go in, inspect, if approved mate, if failed, cut it off and let it drop into the river.
