Description: A sudden massive movement stopped the red billed oxpecker from eating ticks and blood sucking flies on the buffalo . A lioness was chasing the bovine and the poor oxpecker had to fly fast to keep up.

Story from behind the lens: I was having tea when I noticed a lioness creeping slowly to a small buffalo herd browsing. When the lioness started running towards a buffalo with a red billed oxpecker on its back, I aligned the camera for a chase. When the buffalo started to run, the oxpecker flew besides it. What a sight!
