Description: Cheetah in full sprint chasing after a Thomson gazelle.

Story from behind the lens: We were set up on a cheetah pair and saw the male eyeing a Thomson gazelle in the distance. We watched him stalking and knew he could take off at any moment and when he did he was in a full bore sprint in about second, blink and you would have missed it. Luckily I was prefocused and ready to fire away as he took off. He failed in this attempt, but it was still quite the show to watch to see the speed at which these amazing animals can move!
