Description: This baby elephant was practicing his trunk skills in a puddle of water under the watchful gaze of the herd.

Story from behind the lens: We were headed back to camp after a wonderful morning's game drive when we came across a large herd of elephants splashing around in a puddle of water. The adults were using their trunks with ease, sucking up the water and throwing it over themselves. It was great fun to watch the youngsters try to copy the adults. This little one wasn't having much luck but he enjoyed sitting in the water.
