Description: Elephant calf with tiny tusks

Story from behind the lens: We followed a large group of elephants & I was focused on trying to get some close up portraits of some of the elephant calfs in the group. As the herd was tightly packed at times It was tricky to get images without any distractions. However when I saw this calf following in the footsteps of his mother & about to move into a clearing I made this my focus. It was only later when reviewing the images that I noticed how tiny the tusks were which start to emerge around 2 years old.
