Description: Leopard climbing down the tree late evening to go in search of food

Story from behind the lens: We rushed to see this elusive cat in Naboisho Conservancy very late in the evening. I knew I will have only a few seconds to take a shot of the leopard coming down the tree. The light was very poor and I decided I will go for a lower shutter speed rather than increase my ISO too high. This setting will also help capture some movement (but not a full panning shot) such as can be seen in the leopard's foot. I chose a wider angle lens so as to show the animal's environment. We spent about an hour with the leopard looking for a prey and being harassed by a couple of hyenas. A lucky sighting.
