Description: Three cheetah cubs learning to hunt as their mother lets them chase and finish off this hare.

Story from behind the lens: We cam across this cheetah mother with three sub adult cubs. The mother was certainly on the hunt for some food, when the wind picked up and it started to rain. We decided to hang out with this family of cheetahs though the heavy rain. As soon as the rain had stopped and the Cheetah mum shook off all the water, she was back on the move and in hunting mode again. We watched her as she trotted along and checked every small tuft of grass, It was like she got the sent of something but couldn't see it. Then all of a sudden, something just bolted out of the ground. It was a hare, she was on it in a flash, and so were the cubs! I could see that she had pulled back and was letting the cubs do all the work and learn how to take down their own pray. She was teaching them. In the process I managed to get a few shots of the chase as the hare darted around, changing directions and making it very difficult for the cubs to catch and at the same time for me to shoot.
