Story from behind the lens: On our Maasai Mara Safari we spent a good deal of time with the Topi pride in a variety of locations. One morning we came upon them on a ridge line with brushy areas. We saw many lionesses out front scanning a herd of Wildbeest and Topis, behind the lionesses in the shadow areas were many cubs watching the strategy of the masters playing out. Hence the Padawan title in reference to training by the master.
