Story from behind the lens: As we watched the goings on within a pride of lions, a young juvenile approached a large male, obviously the leader of the pride, with a look in its eye that seemed to convey both respect as well as a certain amount of uncertainty about what the large lion's reaction would be. We breathed a sigh of relief just after this photo was taken, when they they rubbed their heads together in a familiar way.
