Description: One afternoon we watched a female leopard descend from her tree to retrieve her dropped prey, a gazelle carcass.

Story from behind the lens: The word went out that a leopard had been spotted in a tree nearby that afternoon. When we arrived the leopard had just dropped its prey and was now on the move from the tree top to retrieve it. Using a fast shutter speed i fired off the camera to capture her on the move. To see a leopard in the wild is a great experience, but to capture one running down a tree was unforgettable.
