Description: Girafe walking the savannah in between night and day

Story from behind the lens: It was our last morning in the Mara. I was feeling a bit sad that we had to leave and a bit excited because the time to go through all my photos on my computer was coming closer. Nevertheless I wanted to spend as much time in the reserve as possible and we decided that we would leave early in the morning. Shortly after we left camp our guide, James, spotted a giraffe gently walking the short grass plain. He expertly predicted the path of the animal and placed us in a great position to help me with this photo. The giraffe did not seem to mind us and just passed by. The light was just like I imagined it and the moon and the little oxpeckers were a great bonus to the scene.
