Description: A lioness moving her new cubs from one den site to another
Story from behind the lens: We were out on a morning game drive and our guide Tinka spotted a lioness seemingly by herself walking across the open plains. She was walking slow and steady, scanning the plains beyond her. We were treated to the magical sighting of the her picking up her new cub, only a few weeks old with a second cub following close behind. She was very relaxed as were the cubs playfully toying with each-other as she took turns in picking up each cub. An unforgettable sighting of new life in the Mara.
