Story from behind the lens: While on safari in the Masai Mara, the focus was on a pair of male lions that were about to bed down for a nap. I happened to look behind us and not far away was this Lilac Breasted Roller, preening in the top of a tree and not attracting any notice. I took the opportunity to capture this incredible image, to date it is by far, one of my favorites!
