Story from behind the lens: As the air tingled and the wind picked up, the clouds in the distance further foreshadowed a coming storm. With the sky darkening, we raced to find an animal to capture in this dramatic setting. Coming across a giraffe, I leaned out of the jeep to capture this low angle. With birds flying in the background and the giraffe framed against the dramatic sky, I feel this image conveys a sense of urgency created by the impending storm.
