Description: Cheetah cub eating a Thomson gazelle kill
Story from behind the lens: As we headed back to camp, our guide spotted a cheetah resting under a bush. As we approached, we saw she had a kill. We then realized she also had a cub who we observed for eating the kill, utilizing its genetic instinct. I wanted to capture the cub harnessing the instinctual need to eat to survive.
