Description: A once in a lifetime opportunity to capture such a dramatic and fierce scene. I wouldn't have ever dreamt of capturing such a frame. "It is the destiny of the weak to be devoured by the strong"

Story from behind the lens: We found this young magnificent male on a fine morning with a jackal kill up a tree, with scavengers such as hyenas looming below he was comfortable enjoying a much needed meal. We decided to camp and wait for the right opportunity to capture the perfect shot. Once the hyenas vanished, we started dreaming of various opportunities that might come our way. The remains started falling onto the ground, one by one. Little Roho quickly jumped down and started crunching onto the remaining bones, it was now a waiting game as he was placed right behind a thick tree. All of a sudden he emerged out with the jackal corpse and within few second vanished into the gorge below the tree.
