Story from behind the lens: We could hear the roaring before we found them. What could it be, that two male lions are roaring at 8AM on a cloudy morning? Following the sound of their roars, we came across two male lions that were clearly out of sorts. Our guide felt that there had been some other male lions in the area that had come into their territory, and they were reasserting their dominance. The cloudy, stormy weather, and the intensity of the roars, really brought together the conditions for an impactful scene.
