Description: Silhouette of solitary giraffe captured at sunrise

Story from behind the lens: Whilst staying at Mara North we were lucky to spot this giraffe at sunrise. However the scene presented some challenges to get an image that was free from clutter as there were bushes to each side that didn’t add to the image. Consequently I decided to shoot a portrait image which helped focus attention on the solitary giraffe & I also liked that the trees in the background added some depth.
