Description: Two lion cubs left behind by the pride bracing each other against the strong rain.
Story from behind the lens: It was a typical overcast day during our morning drive. The rain was rather unexpected as it just started pouring heavily out of nowhere. Our jeep was slightly uphill from the pride so we were looking down at them. The lionesses and the older cubs gradually started moving out of the open and away into a bush close by. These two cubs were the smallest of them all and got left behind. What i witnessed next was them bracing each other in the most adorable manner i have ever seen. Finally they spotted the mother and moved to where the pride had gone. From all my trips to Africa, this is is the most amazing thing i have seen, it truly made my day and i can still relive that moment, in the rain, drenched looking at these cubs.
