Description: Neema and her three cubs

Story from behind the lens: In the noon Safari lull, we decided to lunch in the car while Neema and her cubs lounged; when all of a sudden, a mother impala and her baby gallop across in the background. The cheetahs, without hesitation, spring to action! I dropped the food I was holding, grabbed my camera, placed it on the sandbag and began shooting. The angle that our car was in (framed by the branches of the trees) allowed me to capture the 'spur of the moment' beautifully. Note to myself: always have your camera settings prepared, even if you are just waiting, you never know what you might get on Safari.
