Description: Two bull elephants sparring in the grasslands of the Mara Triangle

Story from behind the lens: Young elephant bulls grazed the savanna grasses along with a few small trees and then broke the tedium of the day by having a bit of sparring practice. It never got serious, there were no females to fight over. The larger bull definitely “bullied” the smaller one and always managed to push him back. Suddenly they stopped and went back to grazing. I love the textures of the elephant hides, their tusks and the grass.
