Story from behind the lens: We had been following these cheetah for quite some time this day. They moved into the area of a very large herd of wildebeest and were spotted pretty quickly. They sat at a distance watching. We all wondered; would they really try? The wildebeest did not seem too concerned except for the few lookouts. Eventually the cheetah either couldn't make a choice of prey or they wisely chose to move on. Standoff over.
