Description: Two zebras take a moment to show a bit of affection in the Mara Triangle

Story from behind the lens: As we wrapped up our day and were heading back to the lodge in the Mara Triangle, we stopped for a few moments to watch a small herd of zebra. I find it hard sometimes on safari, because zebras are everywhere and therefore easily overlooked as we move on in search of predators. But I love photographing them and wish we had more time to just sit and watch, because there are always so many little moments of affection such as this one. Plus, they usually provide a unique artistic opportunity because of their stripes. I felt the black and white conversion added to the emotion of this simple story of affection.
