Description: A young cub plays with his mothers tail

Story from behind the lens: We had spent most of the afternoon with the Acacia Pride in Mara North conservancy as the lionesses & cubs relaxed around two grassy mounds. One of the cubs moved to be closer to its mother as she lay sleeping, & I watched to see what interaction & behavior might unfold. Luckily, she would intermittently flick her tail which proved to be simply irresistible to the little cub as it tried to grab hold of it. It’s always a joy to watch scenes like these.
