Story from behind the lens: While our group was riding horses, our tracker Netti went out to see what was in the area for wildlife. As we returned to camp, Netti announced he had found some very young lion cubs. We enthusiastically jumped into our safari truck....and drove and drove and drove. 45 minutes from camp we left the road and went deep into the middle of nowhere, and deep in some thickets in a gully we found them! How Netti ever found these cubs to begin with is just remarkable and a testament to the amazing abilities of the Maasai.
