Description: A hippo walking slowing passed a sleeping crocodile.

Story from behind the lens: We had stopped for breakfast on the bank of the Mara River. Looking across to the bank on the otherwise of the river we could see a crocodile asleep. Then we noticed, tucked into the vegetation just above the crocodile, there was a hippo. The hippo stood there for quite sometime, he looked as if he was deciding whether to risk walking down the slope in front of the crocodile to the water's edge. Eventually he made a move and walked extremely slowly down the bank and very cautiously round the crocodile, who remained a sleep, and into the water.
