Story from behind the lens: My guide Saruni anticipated that this bull elephant would head to a small waterhole in the distance, so we moved around it & waited at the waterhole. It not only came & drank, but also splattered me & our vehicle with mud during the sighting! On leaving & moving off he gave a good shake of his ears with the result of dried mud fragments flying into the air. A final explosive moment from a gentle giant.
