Story from behind the lens: It was a beautiful morning in the Mara when I photographed this lion cub taking a leisurely stroll through the grassy plains of Africa. Bathed in the gentle glow of the sun, warm rays filtering in from the side, the cub's sleek fur glistens, highlighting its youthful innocence and playful spirit. The cub's carefree demeanour is evident as it confidently explored the terrain amidst its pride, seemingly without a worry in the world. The skilful guidance of our experienced guide, Arnold, led us to the perfect vantage point-close enough to observe the majestic lions in their natural habitat, yet distant enough to ensure we respected their space. As the cub wandered amidst its pride, we were privileged witnesses to an intimate moment of pure wilderness.
