Description: This leopardess was resting on a branch. She had given birth to her young not far from the tree.
Story from behind the lens: This leopard was resting in a tree near a camp. It was already late in the evening when we left this road again. We saw lots of giraffes and impalas. However, a bushbuck caught our attention. Again and again he looked into a bush and gave warning calls. However, we haven't been able to see the reason yet. We first had to cross a small ditch before we saw this beautiful leopardess resting on the tree. However, her position did not seem to be that comfortable, because she kept looking for a more comfortable position to lie down.
