Description: A young cheetah, sitting in the rain, on the look out for her next meal.

Story from behind the lens: This photo was taken on my first Safari in the Masai Mara. It happened to be raining for the first hour of the evening Safari, but I found that the rain helped me to get some unusual photos of the wildlife, such as this cheetah. The cheetah didn’t seem bothered by the rain, she was sat in it, not looking for shelter, but instead looking for her next meal. I know she was out on the hunt, because not long after we left this cheetah, we heard on the radio that the same cheetah had made a kill and we were able to go back and see her eating it, still in the rain and still not bothered by it.
