Description: A lioness from the Rekero pride looking seemingly discontent about the impending downpour

Story from behind the lens: I have never experienced such extreme and persistent rains in the Mara ever. It had poured for 9 days straight and it was no different this particular afternoon. You can tell that the lions hate feeling wet and end up just sitting with frowned faces, however, the rain provides a unique atmosphere to capture them and the frozen raindrops resemble glitter, falling from the sky.
