Description: A soon to deliver lioness gets up a tree in the Mara.

Story from behind the lens: We got the news of a lioness on a tree when we were at a different location which was about half an hour from this spot. We took our chances and headed to the point. On our way we saw Luluka but Danson, our guide insisted that we keep moving and come back to Luluka later.

As we reached this tree, we saw her on th =e tree and we were there for about twenty minutes before she got down. It was a fairly sunny afternoon, but for some time here on this spot, there were clouds hovering over. This is from that moment.
