Description: Leopards raise their cubs alone so when a pride of Lions enter their territory they must move their cub to a new den. Whilst holding her cub safely between her jaws her eyes must remain vigilant.
Story from behind the lens: The strength of love and protection shown by a female cat is never more apparent when it is in danger. A Lion pride moves into her territory so she must move her cub to a new den. The cub is large and heavy but she grasps it firmly between her jaws and carries it for over an hour across the plains and even through the river. Her eyes are ever focused, sharp and watchful.
