Story from behind the lens: We were driving back to camp as dusk was falling quickly when suddenly the guide spotted a pride of lions walking across the plains. We quickly positioned ourselves ahead of the lions. They lay down on elevated ground with the soft sunset behind them and I focused on this beautiful lioness capturing a portrait of her to highlight these big cats intense beauty and poise.
