Description: Luluka and her cub know how to have fun with each other with Big Antics and lots of rough and tumble play!

Story from behind the lens: It was a glorious sunlit morning in the Mara on the day that I saw Luluka and her cub playing in the tall grass. They chased each other in the wet grass with a lot of energy and , what looked to my eyes, great enjoyment. Although it was fantastic action to watch there weren't many photography opportunities given how tall the grass was until this special moment! Luluka leapt up and over her cub leaving him to figure out how to reposition and continue their game. I was ready for the action with my 600mm lens mounted on a tripod, legs flat on the bottom of the jeep floor, optimized for the low angle. The moment Luluka took off I fired off a burst of images and was rewarded with just a few where both leopards were completely visible for the shot. I am grateful for this special moment and for the being able to see the beautiful bond between mother and cub.
