Description: Two tiny playful lion cubs in the vast plains of the Masai Mara

Story from behind the lens: It was almost dark and we were heading back towards the camp, when we saw some vehicles parked far away. We moved our vehicle close to see these two tiny cubs with the mom far behind the bush. To wait or not to wait was the question. Dark clouds had started to gather and the light was fading Vehicles had started to move back leaving just us and another vehicles behind. We were hoping for the cubs to come out from behind the bush. Suddenly we saw the lioness coming out and sitting at a distance. The cubs followed. This image is a reminder of how beautiful and vulnerable these tiny cubs are. We can admire their playfulness on one hand and on the other we saw how they were constantly protected by their mother which didn't allow them to come out and play when their were too many vehicles around.

The tiny cub had raised its paw, a reminder of the help they seek from each one of us to commit in saving them for generations to see and admire them
