Description: The silhouettes of four acacia trees contrast with the vivid colors of nightfall at the Mara North Conservancy
Story from behind the lens: After a magnific game drive on our way back to the hotel, we stopped expecting to see the sun's last light. The pastel colors of the sunset contrasted perfectly with the acacias trees on the horizon, and though there wasn't wildlife in the frame, I thought the composition was perfect. Although the eyes are generally focused on the wildlife of the Mara, acacias are a fundamental element for the biological diversity of this ecosystem.
