Story from behind the lens: Trying to find a serval cat in the long grass in the Maasai Mara is like looking for a needle in a haystack. It took tremendous skill by our guide, Andrew Kiio, to not only find this solitary carnivore at Olkeju Ronga, but to also backlight it so I could create a unique image. It was great to witness a successful hunt by the long-legged feline as the sun was setting on the grasslands of the Maasai Mara.
